Board News
It's Official!
Congratulations to our nine newly elected board members who were elected with overwhelming approval by our membership (98% of those voting). Welcome to the following board directors serving for their first terms:

Linda N. Cassano, Esq.

Head of Regulatory Risk and Compliance (CCO, Chief Compliance Office) at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia New York Branch and Commonwealth Australia Securities LLC where she created, implemented and maintains the regulatory infrastructure for the bank's SEC registered US broker/dealer.

 

Mary Ann Pessolano Mattone, RN/MPH

Professional background began in psychiatric nursing and later worked in foreign exchange markets and real estate. Mattone has been involved in varied philanthropic pursuits in the Italian American community and the community at large for many years. 

 

Angela T. Sculti

Director, Corporate & Community Relations at St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children since 2006, responsible for increasing funding, re-branding and launching the System's capital campaign. Board service includes the Queens Chamber of Commerce, DeVry University the American Cancer Society.

 

The following board directors were elected for their second terms since the restructure of our organization in 2009:

Vivian Cardia, Donna de Matteo, Patricia Martone, Cristina Matera, MD, Hon. Angela Mazzarelli and Betty J. Santangelo.

Robyn Imbimbo and Maria T. Vullo were elected to the National Board in 2010 and will complete their first terms in 2012.
