Lynne Carbone (DC) is a third generation Italian American from Long Island, New York. Since 1992 she has lived in Bethesda, Maryland. Lynne has a BA in Spanish and Masters in Public Administration from American University. She is bilingual in Spanish and continues to have achieving fluency in Italian on her “bucket list”. Lynne is the President and owner of Lynne Carbone & Associates, Inc., an organization and management consulting firm based in Bethesda, Maryland which serves an array of clients in profit, not -for -profit and federal government sectors. Lynne has two married sons, two granddaughters and a grandson on the way.  She is very proud of her Italian heritage and looks forward to supporting  young Italian American women advance in their lives. Megan Bertino Contakes (DC) is a founder and partner of Integrated Direct Marketing, a direct response fundraising and communications agency that specializes in progressive advocacy and charitable giving. Marianne Leone (NAT) is an actress, screenwriter and essayist. Her essays have appeared in the Boston Globe, Post Road, Bark Magazine, Coastal Living, Solstice, and WBUR’s Cognoscenti blog. Her memoir, “Jesse, A Mother’s Story of Grief, Grace and Everyday Bliss,” was published by Simon & Schuster in 2010. She had a recurring role on HBO’s hit show, “The Sopranos” as Joanne Moltisanti, Christopher’s mother. She has also appeared in films by David O. Lauren Mappa (CT) is the Operations Director for the Norwalk First Taxing District Water Department, a municipal water company in Norwalk, Connecticut.  She is a graduate of Duke University with a degree in civil engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut. She and her husband Larry Mappa grew up in Norwalk, but have lived and raised three children—Carly, Jack and Roey—in Fairfield, Connecticut for the past 25 years. Her favorite hobbies are working out and farming. 

Carolyn Alongi McDonough (GNY) is Chief Content Officer at CultureArtMedia.com. A Digital Media Producer/Editor and Vocal Artist, Carolyn holds her BA in Medieval & Renaissance Studies from Vassar College and her MA in Media Studies from The New School. She is fluent in Italian having also studied at the Universita’ di Firenze in Florence, Italy. Carolyn was awarded a post-graduate Fellowship to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy and recently received a scholarship from the Museum of Modern Art/Credly. Carolyn is currently pursuing a Certificate in Interactive Technology & Pedagogy at The Graduate Center, CUNY.
