Bridget Bagileo will be a sophomore at Catholic University of America in the fall, majoring in Classical Humanities and Italian. Her family is originally from Avelino, in the Campania region of Italy. Bridget is also the recipient of NOIAW’s 2017 Scholarship Award.
Gloria Grillo Barsamian spent twenty-eight years as the first medical social worker at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts. She is the author of Sustenance and Hope for Caregivers of Elderly Parents and Three Whistles. Gloria is a licensed social worker with Master’s Degree in Psychology and Social Relations from Harvard University. Her hobbies include gardening, swimming and cooking.
Ann Sepe is President of Help 4 Animals, President of Marco Island Italian American Society 2014-2017, and former President of the RI Business and Professional Business Women’s Association. She is a recipient of the RI Big Sister of The Year 2007 award, and the RI Friends of Animals 2009 award. She volunteers with HSUS in Naples, Florida; the Collier County Spay/Neuter Clinic, and the Association of Humane Educators.
Charlotte Volpe is a Compliance Coordinator at InterExchange Au Pair USA, a cultural exchange nonprofit organization. She developed her interest in international affairs and cultural exchange as a study abroad student in Bologna, Italy, and hopes to continue working in the field long-term.
